I started this blog as a way to document my very first marathon training. I am running the Pittsburgh marathon on May 2nd, 2010, and am extremely nervous! I also have a full time job, an 8 year old, a husband, 2 dogs, and a gym where I teach group fitness classes. It's a delicate balance. I want to show people (you!) that there is a way to find balance in your life in order to make yourself happy, and the people who depend on you happy, too.
I am also completely passionate about healthy living and whole foods. I am a vegetarian, living in a house with 2 carnivore boys! We have our differences, but we are learning more and more every day to compromise. In addition, I have a not so secret love for baking. I don't have as much time for this as I'd like, but one day I will. Right now I'll settle for my mom's fantastic baking and my once in awhile homemade bread, cakes, and muffins:
